The year is looking very bright for Windaroo Valley State High School. Their new school leaders are truly inspirational individuals and many of them volunteer their time to help our community.

Pimpama State School new administration building is coming together and I must say Marius it's looking pretty darn good. I believe it is only a few weeks away before it's ready to move in. It was a hard fight for funding, however the squeaky door was eventually oiled. Thanks to everyone who signed petitions and supported the P&C to get the building.

A big shout out to all our lovely crossing guards throughout the Southern Logan City and the Northern Gold Coast. It has been an exciting day for both parents and students alike. Well done to the "majority" of drivers.

Our brand new classrooms are coming together at Highland Reserve State School. Handover of this new facility is a few weeks away. Just need facilities like these in other schools.

There are a lot of excited students heading to their first day of school. Please take extra care around our schools. Kids can be so unpredictable and forget their surroundings
