Big night for Lions Club of Helensvale, Helensvale State School Parents & Citizens Association and Crosslife Helensvale at the Helensvale Christmas Carols. We cooked 538 sausages (some very well done upon request and others accidentally well done.) Thank you everyone for a great night! We will do it all again tomorrow night at Highland Reserve.

A small gesture of thanks to our schools. Today whilst doing lots of other jobs, I’m delivering Bakers Delight Christmas Cakes to our local schools. Thank you Oxenford Bakers Delight for the cakes and huge thank you to our local schools for all their efforts this year teaching the next generation.

Tonight we congratulate the year 6 students at Oxenford State School on another outstanding year of success. You have built strong foundations for your journey into high school. Use all you have learnt to create a bright future.

Congratulations to all the graduating students at Gaven State School. Today ends your primary school era but your journey of life will continue with many ups and downs. Please dare to dream and be everything you can be.

The Helensvale State Primary School graduation ceremony is simply “The Greatest Show on Earth”. Congratulations students, staff and parents. All your effort over the years have paid dividends and you should all be very proud.
