Many residents have expressed their dismay about the level of youth crime that is plaguing our community. They feel there isn’t enough being done to correct the anti social behaviour that many of these individuals display.

Out in the electorate today talking to local about a new e-petition I have sponsored .

Residents have asked me to setup a e-petition asking for addition car parking spaces for the proposed Helensvale North Train Station from 172 to at least 500 and rename the station to Hope Island Road to better reflect the location of the station.

As most of you are aware, the Cross River Rail Delivery Authority is planning a new rail station at Helensvale North and I am seeking your support to sign a petition to increase the amount of car parking spaces at this proposed facility. I have been contacted by concerned residents who feel the planned 172 to 174 car parks for commuters will be insufficient and will force rail patrons to use local streets for parking.
