Take Care On The Roads

Sections of road pavement near the Coomera River bridge along birds around have suffered some damage. The causeway is still closed but water levels continue to recede.

Tarata Road

Tarata Road is still closed at Guanaba Creek. A Council excavator and bobcat have now arrived on site to remove debris from beside the bridge and roadway. Council officers will also need to check that there are no structural issues to give the bridge a all clear. Please don’t abuse council workers. They hope to open the bridge later today.

Coomera River Oxenford Pony Club

10:55am 28th February, flood waters along the Coomera River upstream from Oxenford weir continue to fall. Oxenford Weir is now below minor flood level. Clagiraba Road monitoring station is now recording minor flood level and falling. Images are from the Oxenford Pony Club The Bom website has detailed flood levels for the Coomera River.
