Thank you to everyone who continues to support our local small businesses. The Helensvale Farmers Market was buzzing with activity this morning. After the market, it was time for some letterbox dropping, and now I’m at my Community Roadside on Reserve Road, Upper Coomera.

Great to catch up with Brad Cooper from Volunteering Gold Coast today. Volunteers are the backbone of our community groups, and we greatly value and recognise the important role they play in strengthening our local community.

We’ve listened to Queenslanders across the State who are fed up with repeat offenders re-offending while out on bail.

That’s why Breach Bail, Go to Jail will be law by the end of the year.

Today is Thank a First Responder Day.

A day to recognise and celebrate our police, fire, ambulance, SES, and marine rescue personnel and their families who support them.

Today we celebrate everything that makes Queensland the greatest State in Australia!

On 6 June 1859, Queensland officially separated from New South Wales. It was one of the best decisions ever made and, judging by the number of NSW residents who have moved north since then, plenty of them agree!
