Thank you to the fantastic Jubilee Primary School - Pacific Pines P&F for organising tonight’s Jubilee Board Game Trivia Night! We have a diverse range of teams with some “interesting” names. Gotta love the ladies in the blowup outfits. So far no air leaks. 😄 Well done President Nat and team.

School Funding Question On Notice to the Minister for Education: Invest for Success funding is allocated to schools based on their ICSEA value (Index of Community Socio-educational Advantage), notionally, a higher ICSEA value would equate to lower funding per student and vice versa.

Highland Reserve State School Parents & Citizens Assoc. (P&C) Colour Fun Run was a blast for the students and the volunteers. I was lucky enough to group up with the messy team. We successfully coloured every student head to toe, even ourselves, in the process. Thank you to the P&C Volunteers and HRSS staff for allowing us to paint them with colour. A big shout out to Mister O’Brien (Principal) for being a truly good sport!!

People you meet at the Oxenford Men’s Shed. Mister Kill, my year 3 Teacher!!! David Kill was the coolest teacher ever!!! He had a talent in making learning fun and interesting. Hopefully his grey hair wasn’t a result of teaching me.

Gaven State School Annual General Meeting. After 13 years as P&C President, Katrina Dunbar is stepping down. It is the end of an era and it will be strange not to have Katrina running the P&C. Congratulations newly elected P&C President Cheryl and team. 2023 will be a great year for the school.
