Our Guanaba Rural Fire Brigade volunteers are burning large storm debris wood piles around Guanaba today. These legends regularly give up their free time to help our community, no better example was last Christmas devastating storm.

The next issue that will become critical for the safety of many communities will be access to the fire trails that we use to access bush fires and work from for containment lines before bushfires get to close to homes.
