Jack’s Law (Made Permanent) was named in honour of Jack Beasley who lost his life to knife crime, gives police the power to use hand-held scanners to detect deadly weapons anywhere and anytime in Queensland.

We’re introducing tough new youth bail monitoring laws so we can put GPS trackers on more youth criminals.

Today is an important occasion to reflect on the sacrifice of police officers from all across Australia who have lost their lives in service of our community.
