Great response for Crime Stoppers outside Woolworth Oxenford. Kay and Ron are the best volunteers an organisation could ever wish for. They are always the first to volunteer. Plus it was good for me to catch up with heaps of locals for the last 4 hours.

Question On Notice asks the Minister about the number of calls for service to Police for hooning offences reported by month and suburb. We have had a large increase in the amount of complaints of hooning activities. Therefore we need additional Police resources to deal with this behaviour.

Yet again the current Palaszczuk Labor Government proves it has no idea when it comes to reducing crime. I, along with my colleagues, have raised this issue time and again in Parliament but are only met with Labor Members laughing and sniggering at residents’ pleas. It’s time to get tough on crime and criminals and stop the revolving door through our criminal justice system.
