Ambulance ramping

Ambulance ramping

Ambulance ramping is a symptom of a sick health system. It happens when Queenslanders are brought to emergency departments, but there's no room inside the hospital.

Paramedics say it’s like water hitting a blockage in a pipe.

When there’s not enough beds, the ambulance doesn’t have anywhere to offload their patients.

Our paramedics have nowhere for their patients to go.

That means patients aren’t treated on time and paramedics can’t get to the next job.

It means Queenslanders aren’t getting care when they need it most.

After eight years of Labor, Queensland has the worst ambulance ramping in the country.

That’s why we’re fighting for action.

That’s why we’re putting our solutions on the table.

The Premier must start listening.

Her government has been in power for eight years.

It’s time for real action to fix the Queensland Health Crisis.
