The Coomera River has continued to erode sections of the Oxenford Pony Club upstream from the John Muntz Bridge. The Pony Club has lost another 5 to 6 meters of land. Last week I did a speech in State Parliament highlighting the riverbank will continue to erode if reinforcements aren’t carried out to protect the land upstream. The river will slowly reclaim the land as it makes it way to Tamborine Oxenford Road.

From almost no water to over flowing!!!! Spectrum Plants Nursery dams are full. It’s a great result for the many nurseries in the area and other businesses that rely on mana from the heavens. Regular follow up rain would be very nice. Plus thank you to the many locals who have supported these businesses through the big dry.

On the may back from visiting a couple sporting groups and the Oxenford Men’s Shed, I had to take a photo of the dark clouds enveloping Wongawallan. Please take extra care on our roads this afternoon and tonight.

It was a great night under the stars or in this case, under the planets. A team of amateur astronomers from the Southern Astronomical Society showcased the planets tonight at Paradise Point! Some SAS members took to new methods for stargazing.

Typical Queensland Winters day, 26 degrees and sunny. Ideal day to hit the pavement again and meet locals. I must say I'm over walking up hills.
