Doesn’t seem logical, but according to government predicted passenger usage, Helensvale’s North Station will be 2800 but will have 172 car spaces. Pimpama Station is predicted to be 1400 passengers yet 300 car spaces.

Helensvale North Heavy Rail Station. Public consultation is open and will continue to the 8th of November 2019. The Station will be accessible from Hope Island Road and will be located on the western side of the train line in Mangrove Jack Park. I have requested a urgent meeting with Transport Main Roads about the new service station located on Tamborine-Oxenford Road, Upper Coomera. Specifically, the proposed right turn from Tamborine-Oxenford Road into the service station. Residents believe this proposal may cause further traffic congestion and visibility concerns. They believe the station's proposed entrance will potentially impact the area where we all queue to turn into Reserve Road. I will keep you updated

Recently we requested Department of Main Roads to installed “No Fishing, Diving or Jumping From Bridge” signs on the John Muntz Bridge. I have had a few residents express their concerns at individuals jumping from the bridge into the water. As one resident said, “you don’t know what is under the water, regularly we see tree logs floating or partly submerged in the river after rain events.”

This week in Parliament I spoke about the concerns residents from Maudsland have expressed about the need for a further signal pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Maudsland Road / Gaven Arterial Road and Riverstone Crossing Maudsland. #reserve #riverstonecrossing
