Doesn’t seem logical, but according to government predicted passenger usage, Helensvale’s North Station will be 2800 but will have 172 car spaces. Pimpama Station is predicted to be 1400 passengers yet 300 car spaces.
Plus Helensvale North Station is located on Hope Island Road. If you are travelling along the M1 Motorway, Helensvale North Exit is the exit further south, Hope Island Road exit is further north. Therefore the logic of one resident was, why not call it Hope island Road Station to limit confusion?
