Super busy morning for the RSL fellas at Oxenford Bunnings, (Oxenford Bunnings, 8th Wonder of the Modern World.) A sausage on bread will keep them going for a couple more hours.

Last day to buy a badge or poppy from the North Gold Coast RSL Sub Branch at Woolworths Oxenford! They will be here until 5:00 pm unless they sell out all the merchandise. All funds go to help local veterans.

Elaine and Shanti have been working hard selling ANZAC Day merchandise for the North Gold Coast RSL sub-branch at Woolworths Oxenford. They have been doing a roaring trade this afternoon. All funds raised help local RSL projects.

Captain Richard Vernon Saunders (14th October 1921 - 25th January 2022) was a World War 2 veteran, a gentleman and a great believer in community. A 'life well-lived” Richard was one of our few remaining World War 2 veterans. A man who served his country with distinction throughout the Pacific war. Lest we forget.

Local Diggers WW1 plaques. It has taken a lot of after hours work, but we have completed the plaques of WW1 Diggers who never came home. A few of the individuals are in addition to the names on our local war memorials.
