A photo taken today upstream from the John Muntz Bridge. Last weeks rain event caused another 1 to 2 metres of riverbank to collapse as the river continues to move in north west direction through the Oxenford .Pony grounds. I recently asked a question to the Minister for Main Roads about protecting the John Muntz Bridge from future erosion. I referenced a recent article in the Gold Coast Bulletin

Coomera River Catchment Group tree planting was on again today. The group has been planting trees between Grey Willow and Regatta Waters Oxenford for many years and it is wonderful to see their hard work paying off.

Thank you everyone who participated in today’s Coomera Catchment Group tree plant at Oxenford. 800 trees planted in just over an hour. Not a bad effort.

Rain over the last couple of days hasn’t impacted the Coomera River height. Levels are still some way below minor heights. Unfortunately, the riverbank continues to collapse. The first two images are of the riverbank after the recent minor flooding a couple weeks ago where we lost 10 to 12 metres of riverbank.

Another successful tree plant at regatta Waters parklands. We had a good group of volunteers eager to plant today's thousand trees. Once again a big shout out to Steven Gill and the Coomera River Catchment Group
