It’s been a huge day at the Guanaba Rural Fire Day. We cooked well over 50kgs of sausages! The community response today has been amazing. A big thank you to Red (first officer) the whole Guanaba team, Sid Cramp, Vicki from Pacific Pines Residents Group & CR Peter Young for all your hard work today.

Ripper of a morning at the Helensvale Markets with great crowds of fresh food hunters. Our local fishmonger has almost sold out all his is stock. Thank you for supporting our school!

800 shopping bags given away, sausage sizzle has been flat out, Crime Stoppers has been non stop. Busy busy busy day at Pacific Pines Winterfest. Plus add all the residents I’ve been chatting with, super busy day.

Full house at tonight Southern Astronomical Society meeting! I think it’s a record number of guests attending. Awesome night to look up at the stars and the rising moon
