Keep supporting our local small businesses this weekend. Helensvale Farmers Market at the High School school has multiple local businesses showing off a variety of fresh food. Yumpling Dumplings makes the best dumplings.

Thank you everyone who participated in today’s Coomera Catchment Group tree plant at Oxenford. 800 trees planted in just over an hour. Not a bad effort.

No Helensvale Car Boot at Helensvale Plaza on this morning due to wet weather. 🌂 Next Helensvale Car Boot Sale will be 2nd May.

Warm afternoon for the Helensvale Lion’s club cooking snags at Arundal Bunnings. (Warm next to the bbq wearing a mask). Today has proven the Aussie Easter isn’t complete without a visit to Bunnings.

It has been a interesting New Year’s Eve. Special thanks to the Sikh community for hosting fireworks at their Helensvale temple tonight. This was greatly appreciated by many in the community. Also thank you to Father Abraham from the Coptic church for your warm welcome at the New Year’s Eve Coptic service. I wish everyone a successful 2021! Hopefully it will be a better year for everyone.
