$200 million would build critical infrastructure for the Northern Gold Coast. Infrastructure that we own! It would pay for the upgrading of Helensvale Road. Main Roads have predicted vehicle numbers will double on Helensvale Road after Coomera Connector is built.
A proper fix to M1 Motorway Exit 57. Since the completion of the $25 million bandaid fix, we have seen a decrease in vehicle numbers using the interchange from Tamborine Oxenford Road. Motorists try to avoid it.
This could fund specialised programs that deal with antisocial behaviour of youth offenders. Plus bring back breach of bail an offence. E-Petition here

“Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House: the urgent need to address the Youth Crime epidemic gripping our state. Residents feel there is not adequate punishment for the crimes committed by these juveniles.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to do all in its power to ensure these juveniles are required, as part of their punishment, to participate in programmes or boot camps which address their antisocial behaviours. Additionally, only upon the successful completion of these programmes that they be released.”
