South East Queensland 11 Local Government Areas lockdown to end at 4pm today but restrictions will continue.

11 LGAs: City of Brisbane, City of Gold Coast, City of Ipswich, Lockyer Valley Regional Council, Logan City, Moreton Bay Region, Noosa Shire Council, Redland City, Scenic Rim Regional Council, Somerset Regional Council and Sunshine Coast Regional Council

3 day lockdown for Cairns. Community member was infection in the community for 10 days.

9 new cases today. 7 linked to the Indooroopilly cluster.

Of the 9 cases, 1 was detected on the Gold Coast and another in Cairns.

Summary of restrictions.

Schools to reopen. All staff including early childhood staff, high school students will need to wear a mask. 😷

Community Sports will not be permitted for a fortnight.

Up to 10 people will be allowed to meet at home or outdoors.

People will have to wear a mask except when outside walking by themselves and sitting / eating.

Travel restrictions to regional Queensland from South East Queensland, unless you are a essential worker.

20 only for Weddings or funerals

1 person per 4 square metres for Cafe, restaurant, places of worship and indoor venues.
