Applications for the 2021 COVID-19 Business Support Grants opened on the 16th August and will close on 16th November 2021.

Queensland Government State Grant information

One off payment of $5,000 for the following criteria.

Small and medium business or not for profit in SEQ with turnover more than $75,000 but no more than $10 million.

Business must:

Employ Staff

ABN

Registered for GST

Based in Queensland.

Solvent

Be able to demonstrate a reduction in turnover by 30% or greater during a nominated 7 day period. This must include at least 1 full day of a lock down event.

Business has been impacted by restrictions that limit or stop operation during lockdowns. Recent lockdown 31st July - 8 August.

Demonstrate a reduction in turnover of 30% or more during a nominated 7-day period. This must be compared with the same 7-day period in 2019 or a comparable 7 day period.

Money needs to be used on your business expenses.

In addition to this grant, additional funding grant for businesses that have suffered a 30% reduction of trade. (Joint Government Program)

This grant includes:

One off grant of $5,000 with payroll of less than $1.3 million

One off grant of $10,000 with payroll of greater than $1.3 million but less than $10 million.

One off grant of $25,000 for large tourism and hospitality business with a payroll of greater than $10 million.

Technical details of the payments are currently been worked out to how it will be added to the $5,000 applications. Please apply for the initially grant and you should get the top up payment.
