The weather wasn’t the best but the Highland Reserve State School fete was a huge success! So successful our P&C President lost her voice, plus the rural fire brigade had to jump start the Police Van. Well done Sarah and her team of amazing volunteers and big shout to the Lions Club Of Upper Coomera for volunteering on the BBQ!

Southern Astronomical Society has a new home! It has been a long time coming, but we have a new home in Upper Coomera. It seems we have a few extra members at tonight’s meeting to view the new facilities. Big thank you goes to the Oxenford Pony Club for allowing the society to use their facilities.

Having a chat with Steve from 7 News about a recent survey I sent to residents who live in the rural areas of the Coomera River Valley. The survey asked for their opinions about the future of their valley and if they want any zoning changes. The vast majority of residents asked to keep the valley rural precinct.
