Red Cross Helensvale are raffling a Ziegler & Brown Portable BBQ. These are amazing little BBQs that are pretty tough. Helensvale Red Cross will be selling tickets at Helensvale Plaza from 10am to 2pm Friday and 9:00am till 2:00pm Saturday. The raffle will be drawn on Saturday at 2:00pm. Please support our wonderful Red Cross.

Our crossing guards are doing the best job possible but they need your help by keeping to the speed limit, stopping when requested and looking out for children near the road. Children can be excited walking to and from school and forget their surroundings. Only today I witnessed a student run after his soccer ball near the roadway. This was followed by car tyres screeching as a Ute avoided him.

Next up it’s Upper Coomera Lions Club meeting! Tonight’s guest speaker is Rise Up. Rise Up is an organisation that helps domestic violence victims, both female and male.

First up tonight, UCSC P&C meeting. Interesting hearing the proactive programs the school is implementing to increase learning outcomes and monitoring of students progression.
