Coomera Springs State School fair is in full swing tonight. There is so much to do from multiple rides, lots of food and heaps of activities for both adults and kids. Take a try of whack a frog and see if you can get the frog in the basket. It rather tricky!

This week I have been working on additional school funding and increased Police resources.

Beenleigh Special School has a new sports day shield! It took a while to get all the artwork done but it was worth it in the end. Plus it's always great to catch up with one of the hardest working Principals Nicole Finch and it good to see she was supporting team Albert at the last sports carnival.

Construction of the new classroom block is progressing well at Highland Reserve State School with work crews preparing to lay the concrete foundations. Over the holiday period they are expecting to have the ground floor structures well advanced.
