Today we celebrate everything that makes Queensland the greatest State in Australia!
On 6 June 1859, Queensland officially separated from New South Wales. It was one of the best decisions ever made and, judging by the number of NSW residents who have moved north since then, plenty of them agree!
For more than 160 years, Queensland has offered sunshine, beaches, great communities, and a lifestyle so good that thousands of southerners keep arriving every year. They may claim they came for work, family or the weather, but we all know the real reason…
They wanted to escape New South Wales and Victoria.
Whilst we feel sorry for their miss guided allegiance to New South Wales, a state they escaped from, but deep down they know the Maroons are the best!!
