Lock down includes 5 Local Government Areas: Brisbane, Logan, Moreton Bay, Redlands and Ipswich.
There will be the 4 reasons to leave home: Essential work, Purchase food and medication etc, to look after a vulnerable person and to exercise
Importantly, anyone who has been in the Greater Brisbane area since Saturday 20 March must abide by this lockdown. You should not leave you home.
Some of the positive cases have travelled elsewhere, including Gladstone and Byron Bay, so there are restrictions for the rest of Queensland too:
For those outside of Brisbane -
You must wear masks when inside (not your own home), when you can’t socially distance and when you’re on public transport.
They will be limiting visitors at hospitals, aged care and prisons
No more than 30 people in your home
If you’re drinking or dining out at a venue you must be seated
They will be reviewing these restrictions on Wednesday
