Quang Long Bradley thank you for your 20 years as a school Chaplain at Helensvale State High School and Helensvale State School. You have helped so many students over the years and our community is forever grateful for your dedication.

This afternoons final game at the Coomera Cubs home ground, Diamond Backs vs the Dolphins. Diamond Backs are proving to be a tough team to beat. Special mention to Nick Day and his team of volunteers for hosting this event.

It has been a successful working bee at the Coomera Cubs Baseball club this morning with a good group of volunteers making lite work of all the jobs that needed to be done to get the fields ready for next weekend’s 3 day baseball marathon.

Tonight almost 200 students from Gavan State School and Highland Reserve State School graduated. All your hard work over the last six years has paid off. Your next step in your educational journey will begin next year at high school. Never forget success is 99% hard work and 1% luck.  Best wishes next year!

Over 50 years of service as a teacher and 17 of those years were spent at Oxenford State School! Zan Bond has many stories to tell about her time in education. She has decided to put her feet up and enjoy her retirement but I think she will miss the students at Oxenford. She'll be back!
