Mark Boothman MP Blog - Small Business

Throughout the area we have small bakeries cooking up essential food items. Some of these bakeries are located away from the primary shopping centres. We have Bakery 165 on Maudsland Road Maudsland, Oxenford Bakery - Shop 14 Old Pacific Highway, Bakers Delights at Oxenford (near Woolworths) & one at Helensvale Plaza and Brumby’s Bakeries cnr Reserve Rd & Abraham Rd. Drop in and support these businesses.

Thank you for supporting local small businesses this weekend!!! Every dollar we spend locally is returned many times by employing locals and small businesses sponsoring community and sporting groups.

Christmas is only four periods of sleep away, please keep supporting our local small businesses. Every dollar spent locally is returned many times. Businesses like Bakers Delight Helensvale make an amazing selection of Christmas treats for us to enjoy. A big Merry Christmas from VJ and his team at Helensvale Bakers Delight.

From almost no water to over flowing!!!! Spectrum Plants Nursery dams are full. It’s a great result for the many nurseries in the area and other businesses that rely on mana from the heavens. Regular follow up rain would be very nice. Plus thank you to the many locals who have supported these businesses through the big dry.

The big dry is hurting local businesses. Spectrum Plants Gold Coast wholesale nursery is having a run out sale and needs your support. 50% off all plants as they only have a few weeks of water in their dams. They have top quality plants going cheap. The nursery is located at 161 Kriedeman Road Upper Coomera / Wongawallan.
