Preparations for roadworks have begun on Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road near Shaws Pocket Road. Please drive carefully.

Please note there are some major traffic changes scheduled in July 2016 for the Pacific Motorway Coomera Interchange (Exit 54).

June had been a very busy month both in the electorate and in Parliament. Here are just some of the highlights.

Busy day in the electorate inspecting new safety equipment being installed on Beaudesert Beenleigh Road. It is great to see the work beginning so soon after the funding announcement. I have for some time spoken out on behalf of residents about the need to improve safety and conditions for this stretch of road. Residents can expect some delays when traveling along Beaudesert Beenleigh Road during daylight hours whilst safety works are in progress.

Today I have written to the Minister for Main Roads seeking Safer Roads Sooner Funding for a section of Beaudesert - Beenleigh Road between Stanmore Rd and Shaws Pocket Road Luscombe. I would like to thank the Queensland Police Service for their support on this issue.
