Today the Shadow Minister for Main Roads Andrew Powell surveyed the damage to the riverbank along the Coomera River. I have also invited the Minister for Nature Resources to personally view the extensive erosion of the Coomera Riverbank and to implement ways to limit future erosion.

As a matter of urgency I have again contacted the Minister for Main Roads seeking immediate allocation of all necessary resources to get Tamborine Oxenford Road traffic flowing again across the John Muntz Bridge. Today engineers have been onsite to start the process.

A message from our school zone crossing guards - don't use your mobile phone whilst driving and don't make rude hand signals to the crossing guards when they ask you to stop. They are doing their best to protect everyone's children.
