Coomera River Catchment Association Inc planted another 1000 plants at today’s Regatta Waters Tree Plant. Over the last seven years, the community has planted 60,000 trees! A big shout out to the crew from Ginger Indian Gourmet for helping and Naomi Fowler, Division 2, Gold Coast for always coming to the tree plants. Without all our volunteers helping, the tree plants would never happen. Thank-you all

We have chased up getting the burnt-out vehicle removed from Binstead Way. Last week, another “police aware” vehicle was dumped on Maudsland Road.

Introducing our new OIC (Officer In Charge) at Coomera Police Station. Senior Sergeant Alisha Edwards started at Coomera Station only a couple of days ago, but she is very keen to learn about the community. Alisha is a long-serving Police Officer and has managed multiple police stations throughout her career.

Many residents have expressed their dismay about the level of youth crime that is plaguing our community. They feel there isn’t enough being done to correct the anti social behaviour that many of these individuals display.

Christmas Day can be one of the busiest days for our local Police Officers and many officers miss out on Christmas lunch with their families. A small gesture of thanks, every year we drop off Christmas lunch for our hard working officers. Merry Christmas Coomera Police, I hope you have a quiet day tomorrow.
