It was a warm day at the Oxenford Bunnings sausage sizzle, where members of the Oxenford Men's Shed Inc. worked hard on the tongs. Thank you to everyone who supported the Shed by purchasing a snag.

Since 1877, 60 Queensland firefighters have made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting our communities. Today, on Firefighters Remembrance Day, ceremonies will be held across the State to pay tribute to their service and courage. We thank all firefighters, past and present, for their bravery and dedication.

Busy morning with the wonderful residents at Seachange Upper Coomera. Lots of questions and some very long answers, thank you, Vicki, for setting this up. Grand opening of H Block Gold Coast University Hospital. Phased services commence from late September 2025. 👉 The new H block includes three inpatient wards connected via a linkway to C Block 👉 70 additional beds to support specialised inpatient services for older adults. 👉 Specialised for patients with cognitive impairment and patients with complex needs.
