Another successful tree planting with the Coomera River Catchment Association Inc! For more than a decade, volunteers have been rolling up their sleeves, getting their hands dirty and planting trees at Regatta Waters Park. Their hard work and commitment over the years have helped transform the area

On Sunday, 1 March, I’m hosting a family-friendly Clean-Up Australia Day in Oxenford and I’d love you to join me!

I’ll provide all the clean-up supplies. Just come along dressed sun-smart with a hat, sunscreen and covered shoes.

Early Morning Bunya Nut harvesting. Bunya Nuts have interesting taste, bit like a chestnut but creamy. (you do need to cook them)

Last Coomera River Catchment Association Inc tree planting for 2025 at Regatta Waters West Parklands. 25 dedicated volunteers, including Naomi Fowler, Division 2, Gold Coast and Cr Donna Gates - Gold Coast, helped plant trees, shrubs and native grasses.

Early start for bush work at Binna Burra (Daves Creek Circuit). Followed by the afternoon back in the electorate, chasing up issues from the weekend. Time for a community roadside at Maudsland.
