Before the election we spoke a lot about Labor’s Health Crisis which saw ambulance ramping reach a record quarter high of 45.5% and elective surgery waitlists blowout.
Ambulance ramping has now dropped to 35.5% - the lowest level since December in 2020.
Elective surgeries have also stabilised with our Surgery Connect Program seeing patients treated sooner.
We know there’s more to do, too many Queenslanders are still waiting too long for an ambulance and for life changing surgeries.
We’ve fully-funded a record investment into health infrastructure with our Hospital Rescue Plan, delivering 3 new hospitals and 10 expansions across the State.
It was a priority before the election and remains a priority today - delivering health services when Queenslanders need them.
