Congratulations, Vadyakala Gold Coast on your first performance! It has been 13 months of practice to get to this level, but it has paid off. Vadyakala is a drum line that play at a high intensity. Outstanding effort!!

Highland Reserve State School Parents & Citizens Assoc. (P&C) Colour Fun Run was a blast for the students and the volunteers. I was lucky enough to group up with the messy team. We successfully coloured every student head to toe, even ourselves, in the process. Thank you to the P&C Volunteers and HRSS staff for allowing us to paint them with colour. A big shout out to Mister O’Brien (Principal) for being a truly good sport!!

Meet Lisa (soon-to-be Coomera Scout Leader). Lisa is genuinely passionate about scouts and helping youth learn valuable skills for later life. Scouts cater for different age groups, and they meet on different nights.

Great effort by the Highland Reserve State School Soccer Academy team for winning three out of five games at today’s tournament.

On a wet day like today, there is no better place to visit than the Helensvale Senior Citizens Hall. I was on tea serving duty, to which I failed terribly. I talked too much, and the lineup kept getting longer. 🙄 The Senior Citizens have game days on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30am to noon.
