Our small local bakeries need our support. It is convenient to purchase our baked goods from the big chains, but it’s our small bakers who need your support. They give so much back to the community through sponsorships and donations. Plus, they make fantastic baked goods. We have multiple bakeries throughout the area, Staker’s Bakery 165, Oxenford Bakery, Coomera River Bakery, Bakers Delight Oxenford and Helensvale.

School Funding Question On Notice to the Minister for Education: Invest for Success funding is allocated to schools based on their ICSEA value (Index of Community Socio-educational Advantage), notionally, a higher ICSEA value would equate to lower funding per student and vice versa.

This afternoon's debate topics by youth parliamentarians at the Cairns Regional Parliament are internet curfew to allow students to help around the house (clean their bedroom) and play sports. Plus, afternoon homework classes. 🤔 Most parents would love the idea of their children cleaning their bedroom.
