Oxenford Men's Shed

The Oxenford Men's Shed Is looking for more members to join the shed. It's a great place to catch up for a cuppa and a chat or do a bit of woodworking. They also have a great garden for all those green thumbs out there. Sheds open between 8 and 11.30am Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays.

Roadworks Upgrade Delayed

Tamborine Oxenford Road and Michigan Drive intersection were scheduled to start work in late 2023, yet no works have started. I have been chasing up the Department of Main Roads, asking why work hasn't begun. This week, we saw another accident at this location. Work needs to start at this intersection as soon as possible to make it safer for the 19,000 road users who use this section of road daily.

It's time for a “very warm/humid” Community Roadside at Upper Coomera. During my travels today, I caught up with Will, who runs The Village Grocer. He sells farm fresh produce from his front gate at 36 Tarata Road Guanaba. During the recent storm event, Will donated produce to all those who helped with the storm cleanup.
