After helping setup the Ormeau Lions BBQ at the Ormeau IGA it's time for a Community Roadside at Windaroo / Mt Warren Park next to the Union Ovals. Then it was time to head south and setup at Waverley Drive Pimpama.

Larissa would have to be the coolest fitness instructor / Police Officer in Australia. A few years ago she started a program called Stand Tall Against Abusive Relationships. This program builds self esteem for victims of domestic violence whilst participating in a vigorous fitness program. STAAR & YOUNGSTAAR PROGRAMS

Albert River Annual Community Open Day is on today. Lots to do, things to buy and all profits goes to helping a wonderful community group.

It's that time of year again when I personally thank our local Police for all their hard work and service to our area and wish them a Merry Christmas. I just wish there were another 30 of them to thank. Today I dropped off 15 kilograms of Lions Christmas Cakes for officers and staff of the Coomera Police Station to enjoy. Scott, Andrew, Nick and your team of dedicated officers, Merry Christmas.

Today I met with residents to discuss crime, road maintenance and facilities for community groups. After that there was a break in the diary for a letterbox drop which included a number of conversations with locals about local issues. Now it's time for a Community Roadside at Upper Coomera on Reserve Road outside the community centre.
