Afternoon Community Roadside at Upper Coomera next to the Upper Coomera Community Centre.

Impressive morning at Helensvale State School NAIDOC celebration. Students played a bit of a game to memorise local aboriginal language words. It reminded me of "The price is right" TV show. Students were helping their teams get the right answers. Well done Aunty Vicki and your team of bright students for a very successful morning. William Owen-Jones Division 2, Gold Coast and I were very impressed.

Up in the hills of the Albert electorate at Wongawallan this morning discussing energy costs for restaurants. Events like this wouldn't be the same without the media popping along.

Another successful year flies by for the lovely hardworking QCWA Coomera ladies. Joanne was elected as president, and I must add, a darn good president! This year they almost reached 5,000 volunteer hours. Unfortunately I had to jet off, so I missed out on their lovely cooking. Well done ladies on another successful year!
