The Gaven State School colour run, hosted by the awesome Gaven State School P&C Association and Naomi Fowler, Division 2, Gold Coast, took place this afternoon. Yellow Ribbon Day acknowledges the extraordinary service of more than 26,000 rural fire brigade volunteers across our state. These men and women give up their time protecting our communities from bushfires and other disasters.

Grand opening of H Block Gold Coast University Hospital. Phased services commence from late September 2025. 👉 The new H block includes three inpatient wards connected via a linkway to C Block 👉 70 additional beds to support specialised inpatient services for older adults. 👉 Specialised for patients with cognitive impairment and patients with complex needs.
