The 1st of August is International Scout Scarf Day! All active and former scouts are requested to wear their scout scarfs in public today! Once a Scout - Always a Scout! The date of the event commemorates the very first Scout Camp on Brownsea Island in 1907.

Big night for the Rotary Club of Coomera Valley. Congratulations to Rick for been re-elected President again. In true Ground Hog Day style, all the previous office bearers were re elected in their old position. If it works, why change it.

Congratulations to Christine for her 25 years service as a Commissioner for Declarations. Christine also has been a JP in NSW long before she moved to sunny Queensland. Thank you Christine for your service to the community.
