The Coomera River has continued to erode sections of the Oxenford Pony Club upstream from the John Muntz Bridge. The Pony Club has lost another 5 to 6 meters of land. Last week I did a speech in State Parliament highlighting the riverbank will continue to erode if reinforcements aren’t carried out to protect the land upstream. The river will slowly reclaim the land as it makes it way to Tamborine Oxenford Road.

The weather didn’t keep the stargazers away from last night’s (Southern Astronomical Society) monthly meeting at the Oxenford Pony Club. With the cloud cover, there was nothing to see outside but Dylan O’Donnell “as always” gave an interesting demonstration of new telescope equipment designed help beginners. Waitangi Day 2020 At Kumera!!!! Special day for our cousins across the ditch. Plus living in Upper Coomera (huge kiwi population) a heap of my good mates are kiwi. I might crack open an L&P with my kiwi fush and chups.
