Captain Richard Vernon Saunders (14th October 1921 - 25th January 2022) was a World War 2 veteran, a gentleman and a great believer in community. A 'life well-lived” Richard was one of our few remaining World War 2 veterans. A man who served his country with distinction throughout the Pacific war. Lest we forget.

Letter to Minister Bailey requesting an update on Charles Crossing Road North / Tamborine Oxenford Road safety upgrade. I’ve asked for the designs to be released to the community for public comment and assurances the project will be completed in 2022-23 financial year.

The Department of Main Roads will be installing Traffic Signals and pedestrian crossing as part of a proposed safety upgrade. I recently wrote to the Minister for Main Roads asking for designs to be released to the community for perusal and comment.
