Rotary Club of Coomera Valley Pop Up Book sale is on this morning at the Oxenford & Coomera Community Youth Centre until 12 noon.

It’s very stressful judging student artwork at Oxenford State School because they all are very very very good! Lots of wonderful themes and messaging in the artwork. Plus how good is the reproduction of American Gothic (Oxenford State School Style)!

Sunday night viewing. When you venture outside and look up at a clear night sky you will notice a light patch to the south (looks a bit like a cloud or smudge). That smudge is the Large Magellanic Cloud, our second closest neighbouring galaxy. Yes you can see another galaxy with the naked eye. But you must get away from the city lights.
