A highly successful day for the Guanaba Rural Fire Brigade with huge crowds turning up to their open day! This event wouldn't be possible without Brendan (Red) and his team of volunteers. Well done gals and guys! It was a great day for all! Sid Cramp Member for Gaven and I had a great time cooking the snags for the crowds, I must say it tested our mass production abilities.

Surrounded by forest covered hills and emerald green valleys are the only words to describe the picture perfect home of the Clagiraba Fire Station. Today they hosted their open day to give residents some valuable information about fire safety.

Coomera Valley Rural Fire Brigade open day from 10am till 2pm today. Come down and support your local volunteers! Jumping castle, free rides with lil squirt and lots of fire safety information.

Today we honour firefighters, no matter what colour uniform they wear or trucks they drive. The service at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church further highlighted the dangerous job they do. So every time you see a yellow volunteer fire truck with their blue and reds lights flashing, they are racing to a job, in the same fashion as their red truck counterparts. Pay them the same respect, they are volunteers saving lives and properties
