The Guanaba Rural Fire Brigade's family fun day was a big success, with good crowds from the Valley in attendance. Big shout out to the Lions Club of Helensvale for donating their time and all funds raised back to the brigade.

I spent the morning with our Rural Fire Brigade volunteers, who gave up their Saturdays to clean up properties of flammable debris. Good to see Rosey teaching his son Jack the importance of learning practical skills and volunteering.

Thank you to Clagiraba Rural Fire Brigade 1568, Coomera Valley Rural Fire Brigade, and Everton Gonzaga for working throughout the day to help property owners reduce fire risk. Your efforts are always appreciated.
