This week in Parliament, the following legislation was introduced Police Powers and Responsibilities (Making Jack’s Law Permanent) Corrective Services (Parole Board) Making Queensland Safer (Adult Crime, Adult Time)

I'm incredibly grateful to be sworn in today as the member for Theodore. Congratulations to Pat Weir on being named Speaker. Tomorrow, we will be introducing Legislation that deals with repeat youth offenders.

The 57th Queensland Parliament has ended. Nine members, including four of my colleagues, will not be contesting the next election. To my good friends, Mark Robinson MP, Michael Hart MP, Darren Zanow MP and Lachlan Millar MP, you are all true gentlemen. To all nine retiring members, thank you for your service and best wishes for your future.

Today, we learned the cost of the Premier’s twin jet jaunt: $168,000 for two planes to jet set around the state. It was also interesting to hear the plane manifest was incorrect. CASA legally requires correct manifests for private chartered flights.
