Afternoon full of Community Roadsides and a mad dash to Lions Youth of the Year at Burleigh Waters. The contestants gave interesting answers to the judges questions, plus their speeches were well rehearsed and researched.

Busy night for the Lions Club of Helensvale discussing the youth of the year competition that is on this Saturday! Multiple students from across the Gold Coast will go head to head. If they are successful, they represent their region and the State. If their success continues and win the Australian competition, they go international.

UPDATE - Cancelled Due To Rain The first Lions Club of Helensvale car boot sale for 2019 l! Master Chef Eric is working hard cooking the snags and onions. Plus we have Bacon and Eggs burgers, best way to start a Sunday.

Congratulations to all our new Aussies at today Australia Day Citizenship ceremony at Helensvale. We welcomed 72 new Aussies from a wide range of countries. Huge thank you to the Lions Club of Helensvale for hosting this event.
