Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony 2022 at Helensvale! Congratulations to all our newly minted Australian Citizens. 29 new Aussies at Helensvale took the pledge to become the newest Australians. Huge thank you to the Helensvale Lions Club for hosting this event.

Busy morning for the Coomera River Catchment Group water sampling Guanaba Creek. The group regularly samples our local water ways throughout the Northern Gold Coast. Due to the wet weather we have had an increase in reactive phosphates in the water.

Coomera New Years Celebration is still a go. Crowds are rolling in for a good night. We have had a few showers of rain but it has cleared up. Some of the adults are more enthusiastic at dancing than the children. Big thank you CR Gates for hosting the event.

Richard has lived life to the full and had seen many changes in the world. In the decade he was born, the first Television was invented in 1927, Birdseye invented packaged frozen food in 1923, aerosol can, insulin, liquid-fueled rocket and Penicillin to name a few. Gold Coast Men’s Walk and Talk meet at Damian Leeding Park every Saturday at 7am. This is a great way for the blokes to make new friendships and support each other. As an added bonus this morning, free breakfast
