The Upper Coomera Cenotaph is almost ready for its first ANZAC Day at its new location. Recent wet weather has slowed progress, but with a lot of TLC from the stone mason, our soldier looks glorious.

Many residents would know the Maudsland ANZAC Day Dawn Service next to the Coomera QCWA hall will not go ahead next year. Many community members have tried to convince the QCWA to reconsider their decision, to no avail

Anzac Day 2024. Don "Poppy Don" Berry, one of our much-loved local veterans, was recently in hospital for major surgery. It was beautiful to see him well enough to attend today's Anzac Day Ceremony at Upper Coomera. He is one of the few remaining Long Tan veterans. He served as a Medic.

The North Gold Coast RSL Sub-Branch Inc. Anzac appeal has started! These lovely volunteers will be at Oxenford Woolworth, Oxenford Bunnings and Helensvale Plaza till Wednesday the 24th. All funds raised support our local veterans & their families.

Today’s wet weather couldn’t dampen the ANZAC spirit, as thousands of locals attended ceremonies at Helensvale, Maudsland and Upper Coomera.
