Wonderful to attend the Magnolia Aged Care Coomera ANZAC Remembrance Day Event. Over the years, many elderly veterans have called Magnolia home.

North Gold Coast RSL Sub Branch is selling badges outside Woolworths Oxenford. They will be here from 9am till 5pm everyday until Saturday.

Multiple mid morning ANZAC Day services throughout the Northern Gold Coast. Over recent years the RSL has focused on getting young people to participate in the services to pass on the traditions. Special mention to the ADF 2nd light horse for attending the Upper Coomera Cenotaph service.

Today, the Coomera and Helensvale Scout Groups will carry plaques of the fallen from the local community who’s names are immortalised on the Upper Coomera Cenotaph. This project took a while to put together and a big thank you goes to President Ken Golden from the North Gold Coast RSL Sub-Branch Inc. and Rotary Club of Coomera Valley for there help in putting this information together. This is a working project with more plaques to come in the future. Lest we forget.
