Thank you Fraser Harding for your 60 years of service as a Justice of the Peace. Fraser has lived in the area for the best part of his life and it was fascinating to hear how much has changed to our area in the last 80 years. I remember when Reserve Road was a gravel road and the airfield at the landings.

Our local artist Don James Waters is hosting an art show and demonstrations at Art Creation Oxenford. (near the Oxenford post office) He is painting live today (4th June, 9 am - 12 noon & 4 pm - 7 pm) Don has sold painting all around the world and has artwork in Buckingham Palace.

Regional Youth Parliament on the Gold Coast. Well done to all the speakers. Your speeches were very well constructed and insightful. Big shout out to Highland Reserve State School students for attending. We are very proud of you and your contribution to the debate.

Thank you 5a and 5c for inviting me to your classroom today. We had a great discussion about the needs of different communities across the state.

Congratulations Matt McKenzie, Helensvale Lions Club newest member! Matt is a busy fella, he is a active member of the Guanaba Rural Fire, school teacher and a master chef!
